The West Haven Veterans’ Museum & Learning Center at 30 Hood Terrace will be the scene of a tribute to the “Three West Haven Buddies,” who were lost in the sinking of the HMT Rohna in the Mediterranean Sea on Nov.26, 1943.
The program presented by the Rohna Remembrance Committee of West Haven, along with The Rohna Survivors Memorial Association, will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2.
PFC’s Pacifico A. Migliore, John T. Cox, and Pasquale J. Logiodice were among the 1000 GI’s lost that day. It was the greatest loss of life of Americans at sea in WWII. WHHS grads from the 40’s and 50’s, are invited.
