Garden Club plans meeting
The West Haven Garden Club will hold its first monthly meeting on Monday, Oct. 10, 12:30 p.m. at B&B Farms, Jones Hill Road. Members will bring their lunch. The first meeting will be an open agenda.

Lions Club slates food drive
The West Haven Lions Club will be hosting it’s “Feeding Families, Fighting Hunger” event on Saturday, Oct. 15, at the historic Poli House, 686 Savin Ave., from 5-8:00pm.
A $20 donation and a bag of non/perishable food will include various appetizers, a tour of the Poli House and musical entertainment.

Rosary Rally on Green, Oct. 15
On Saturday, Oct. 15 at noon, Catholic parishes in the city will join for a Rosary Prayer Service, near the gazebo area of the West Haven Green. Some chairs will be available, but those attending may consider bringing a chair, if able. For information: Eva Cestari (203) 933 7141.
Mohegan Sun trip, Nov. 9
The West Haven Senior Center will offer its final trip of 2022 to the Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville on Nov. 9. No casino packages are offered for the trip, which costs $30. Payment is due Oct. 14.

The bus will depart at 8:30 a.m. from a location to be announced and leave at 3 p.m. from the casino.
Stamp Club resumes meetings
The New Haven Stamp Club meets every Tuesday evening at 62 Clark Road in North Haven at 7:30 p.m. There is a stamp and coin show the 4th Sunday of every month at the Annex at 554 Woodward Ave. East Haven from 9:00 to 2:30 p.m. All are welcome for both events.
