St. Lawrence plans corn hole tourney
St. Lawrence School is hosting a fundraiser – Cornhole-by-the-Sound — on Saturday, Sept. 30, in the gym. child/parent teams at 11 a.m., social and competitive teams, 3 p.m. Raffles, prizes, food trucks, and fun for all. 231 Main St. Call the school for more info (203) 933-2518.
Seniors traveling to Foxwoods
The West Haven Senior Center is offering a bus trip to Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard on Nov. 8.
Enjoy the new Pequot Woodlands Casino at Foxwoods featuring 430 slot machines, the new high-limit slot room with 130 state-of-the-art machines and the newly opened Wahlburgers restaurant, as well as shopping at the Tanger Outlets.
No casino packages are offered at the moment.
The trip costs $35. Payment is due Oct. 13.
The bus departs at 8:30 a.m. from the Veterans Memorial Park parking lot at 91 Bull Hill Lane, the former Nike site, and leaves at 3 p.m. from Foxwoods.

Reunion for ’67 – ’68 classes
The West Haven High School Classes of 1967 and 1968 are having a joint 5th reunion on Saturday, Oct. 28, beginning at 4 p.m. at Lorenzo’s Ristorante, 39 Elm St. Join your fellow classmates for food, fun, and Fellowship, Mark your calendars, details to follow.
