Harry M. Bailey’s Night of Recognition is set for Friday, June 25and Commencement Exercises for the West Haven High School Class of 2018 are set for Monday, June 18. Both ceremonies start at 6 at Fitzgerald Sports Complex. Gates open at 5 and seating is available on both sides of the stadium.
As you may be aware, West Haven High School is in the midst of a construction project which has impacted our parking lot and courtyard. In order to accommodate family and friends who want to join us for the ceremony, we met with the West Haven Police Department to develop a parking and traffic flow plan that will be safe and efficient to meet our graduation parking needs. We ask for your patience and cooperation as there is always heavy pedestrian traffic as well.
There will be three graduation parking lots: Lot 1, West Haven High School, 1 Circle St.; Lot 2, Savin Rock Conference Center, 6 Rock St., Lot 3, St. John Vianney, 300 Captain Thomas Blvd.
You must have an official graduation ticket to park in any of the three lots. Please show your ticket to gain entrance.Shuttle buses will provide transportation from Lots 2 & 3.
Special Notes about the traffic flow:
Dyke Street will be closed for Shuttle Bus Traffic only. Once the WHHS lot is full, it will be shut down. Drop off for those needing assistance at the front gate of Ken Strong Stadium will be allowed, but please arrive early.
