The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, 28 Church St., will celebrate “Blue Mass” as a thank you to West Haven’s first responders. The liturgy will take place on Sunday, Oct. 26 at the 9 a.m. mass.
“This liturgy honors the men and women of West Haven’s fire, police and 911 dispatch services,” said the Rev. Thomas Jackson, parish vicar. “This is the parish’s opportunity to say thank you to our emergency personnel and to honor those who have died in the line of duty.” he said.
All available West Haven first responders and the public are encouraged to attend. The Rev. Judith Alexis will serve as presiding celebrant.
