Barry Lee Cohen, Republican Mayoral Candidate announced the appointment of Stefano Guerra as Campaign Director.
Guerra, who will graduate summa cum laude next June, is entering his senior year at Southern Connecticut State University. He is double majoring in political science and communications and minoring in psychology. Guerra plans to become a lawyer with aspirations to work his way up to the attorney general’s office.
“Stefano is a dynamo. From the moment we met last month to the soaring leadership he demonstrated in a matter of a few weeks, I knew he was far more than an intern, but offered a unique blend of intelligence, strategic acumen, operational excellence, and interpersonal skills far beyond his years. I am thrilled he accepted this pivotal role on our NEW West Haven Team,” Cohen said.
Guerra will be directing volunteer recruitment and operations, working with strategic partners, overseeing event coordination, fostering community outreach, as well as a variety of other communication services. Prior to joining Cohen, Guerra was part of the campaign management team for the Rich DiNardo State Representative 2022 race in Guilford/Branford.
“I am very delighted to have been given the opportunity to work for such an important campaign. This is a transformational election year, and it is an honor to be a part of the campaign for a new West Haven,” Guerra said.
