Notre Dame High School of West Haven President Robert F. Curis is pleased to announce the Valedictorian and Salutatorian of the Class of 2020. This year, Notre Dame’s top students are a unique pair: Michael Consorte was named the Class of 2020 Valedictorian and his twin brother, Matthew Consorte, was named the Class of 2020 Salutatorian. Michael and Matthew reside in West Haven with their parents Carla and Mark (ND Class of 1988.)
Both Michael and Matthew are National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society inductees. The Consortes’ success carried over to their varsity athletic experiences, as Michael made a name for himself on the football field, and Matthew captained the basketball and soccer teams. They also served as Peer Counselors and role models to their fellow ND students. Upon graduation, both Michael and Matthew will continue their Holy Cross education at the University of Notre Dame.
The Notre Dame High School administration will hold COVID-19 modified commencement exercises for the Class of 2020 in either June or August, based upon state guidelines for public gatherings.
