The Department of Parks and Recreation is holding its annual Easter egg hunt for city children Saturday at the Painter Park tennis courts on Kelsey Avenue.
The rain date is April 20.
The free event includes a contest for the best decorated egg, a jelly bean count contest and a candy hunt for the prize egg. Children entering the decorated egg contest must bring their own egg.
The hunt schedule is: 10:30 a.m., ages 3 and younger (only one adult may assist a child in the hunt area); 10:55 a.m., ages 4-5; 11:15 a.m., ages 6-7; and 11:35 a.m., ages 8-10.
Parents must show organizers proof of residence at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the hunt.
