A meal delivery and catering business that is now nine years old, located in the Woodlawn Plaza, helps residents and visitors beat the summer heat with fresh, tasty food they can grab on the go, near the beach.
Edibolic Kitchen held a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, June 26 867 Jones Hill Road. The event was organized by the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce. Members of West Haven and Milford business communities along with City of West Haven officials.
Festivities included: free samples of ginger juice shots, cold brew coffee, and gluten-free cookie bites; cooking demonstrations with Executive Chef Erica Pierre; meeting the team, including CEO and founder, Josh Wechsler; small-group demos of how the self-serve fridge works; and special offers for the first 100 people to use the new Grab & Go service.
Edibolic Kitchen is a gourmet meal delivery service, specializing in ready-to-heat-and-eat meals that fit into busy lives. Catering to dietary needs like gluten-free and high-protein is no problem. In addition to home delivery, Edibolic Kitchen offers catering services. For those always on the move, the Grab & Go is a self-serve fridge stocked many options.
“We are really excited to be moving ahead with Grab & Go. It’s something our customers and others have been asking for, and now the moment is exactly right, Said Wechsler. “People can come by, swipe their card, and pick up our delicious, nutritious food to take away for dinner or summer outings. It’s that simple.”
Edibolic’s Grab & Go fridge will be stocked with salads, wraps, bowls, and bites to support active lifestyles. Specialty beverages will include protein shakes, prebiotic sodas and fresh, cold brew coffee. Regular summer hours for Grab & Go will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-7 p.m. and Sundays from 1-5 p.m.
