Why does the city not raise manhole covers and the frames after paving anymore?
There are several in West Haven that are very deep especially at Campbell and Spring Street and by the VA. If you hit this one you could damage your car. Also, I called the City’s dispatcher’s desk at least six times last summer for numerous potholes at Forest Road and David Street. It’s like a mine field dodging the holes going up and down the David Street Hill.
During one of my numerous calls to the city, I was told crews were out there now fixing them. They were NOT. Can you please help with these issues?

I have placed your complaints with one of four council members. One of them replied, Councilwoman Dawn Callahan, who referred me to the City for assistance. I will post these city responses through the city’s council representatives as soon as I receive them. Meanwhile, please keep me updated on these issues.

I took my mom to the senior center to join and meet people but she can’t stay; too much cursing and bad words in the lunch program. Why was nothing done about this person using the F word all during coffee and lunch? Where are the rules? We left! And will never to come back!
I was a sailor and never talked like that! Shame!
