Gripe Vine Readers:
It has been some time since you have heard from me, and I must begin my column today with an apology. Your issues are of the most importance to me, and I will address them in each future column.
However, my absence from this page was attributed to an accident from a fall that injured my shoulder and left arm. This unfortunate occurrence placed me in a hospital bed for three weeks. However, here I am, back at my desk continuing to provide answers to your complaints and concerns:
Here are some of the issues I will be covering before my next column; comments on West Haven’s music festivals, lack of public interest in future use of vacant buildings throughout the city, neighborhood complaints of privacy parking on streets off Ocean Avenue, out-of-town parking cars on private streets blocking private entrances, city trees limbs on private property, private property owners harboring overgrown weeds, creating eyesores to other properties, new recycling containers in city, trash cans permanently displayed in front of private homes, accumulating trash in neighbor’s yards, more senior center gripes and noise levels in West Haven noted.
Gripe Vine will continue to investigate your gripes and will anticipate responses from authorities to publish in my column.
Continue to let me know what your gripes are and I will be addressing the above issues and recent complaints entering my mailbox.
You can send your gripes, and issues to Gripe Vine 840 Boston Post Road, West Haven 06516 or email them to [email protected]. You can also submit through our online form.
