Gripe Vine Readers:
Recently I received a complaint. “I want to put a fence on my property, one that would offer privacy for me and our family in my back yard. After talking with a few buddies of mine I I began to get the impression that there was more to this project that I had thought. So,I reached out for some advice.
Curious Joe
Dear Curious Joe:
You pose an interesting question: because an individual who’s putting out the money for this form of privacy, and if so, what are the ongoing rules as a guide to meet the law for such a project.
Well, first I attempted to seek some answers for you and my readers. Not an easy as one would think. I sought out the state regulations and began to wae through the various responses to your questions. State and local regulations may differ and I want to offer both of these to you, which will include West Haven’s regulations as well.
Watch Gripe Vine soon for how high must a wooden fence be to meet conformity and state laws and which side of the fence should face he owner.
Dear Eleanore Turkington:
There are problematic weeds all around the overpass on Washington Avenue near the West Haven Lumber Company making it difficult to see..
I called the Blight Line three times and each time they responded within a day. They did an excellent job, not so much for the public
