On Dec. 6, Jordan’s Furniture in New Haven was filled with people for the annual WPLR Chaz & AJ Toy drive. The event was a huge success raising an astounding $162,484 to provide toys for children in need this holiday season. The entertainment included Grammy-winning rock band Living Colour and three other groups featuring students and teachers from Rock House School of Music. The Rock House All-Star kids band played hits from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and rock versions of holiday classics. Rock House Entertainment. a band featuring instructors from Rock House School of Music. had the crowd rocking and a 14-person student choir sang a cappella Christmas songs throughout the event.
