A new Savin Rock Ladies Bocce League is beginning, and starts play on Wednesday, May 18, at 5:30 p.m. The schedule runs through Aug. 31. Membership dues: $80 A league meeting will be on May 18 at 5 before play.
The Savin Rock Ladies Bocce League is a new league this summer. It is an independent league, which is non-profit and non-partisan. It is a multi-cultural and multi-generational program that provides the opportunity to meet people and get exercise through playing bocce. Beginner to experienced players are welcome. The bocce courts are in the Old Grove section of Savin Rock Park. Players should commit to the season.
Those interested must register through West Haven Parks & Recreation website: http://www.whparkrec.com with the registration and liability-wavier forms on the Bocce League site.
