Savin Rock Theatre Company has announced that Jessica Irizarry has been nominated for Best Performer in a Musical (Professional) in the prestigious BroadwayWorld Connecticut Awards for her standout performance as Jerusha Abbott in the company’s debut production, Daddy Long Legs.
Irizarry’s portrayal of Jerusha Abbott was hailed as a “tour de force” by local theatre critics.

The BroadwayWorld Regional Awards celebrate the best of local theatre across the country, with winners determined by fan vote. Voting for the Connecticut region is currently open to the public through December 31st.
