Born in New Haven, Edna was a daughter of the late James and Frances (Tyrell) Dunn. A graduate of Wilbur Cross High School, she worked as a system analyst for SNET for 42 years until retirement. In her later years, she found enjoyment as an employee at Christmas Tree Shops. As a vital member of St. John Vianney Church, Edna served as a long time Eucharist minister and faithful communicant. A favorite pastime was watching and rooting for the Red Sox. Without a doubt, she was the matriarch not only of her family but of the Grand Street neighborhood. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her and loved her company.
