West Haven Rotary Club had its 41st Annual Scholar-Athelte Recognition Ceremony at West Haven High School. Seventy-eight WHHS juniors were honored for their achievements in academics and sports.
Two seniors received special awards. Joseph Malangone received the “Robert ‘Bob’ Greenwood Service Before Self Award.” And Kassidy Carrano received the “Vincent ‘Vin’ DiLauro Passion Award.”
The program was emceed by Rotary Club President Carrie Malangone and Co-Athletic Director Michael Anquillare. Rotary Club Past President Roland Depew delivered the keynote address to the students.
