Shore Haven Junior. Baseball League awarded three scholarships to former players who are going to be freshman in college in the fall.
Nora Grillo received the Dini Family Scholarship. She is a graduate of Laurelton Hall where she was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society. Nora is going to St. Joseph’s University (PA) and will study heath sciences on the physician assistant track.
Zachary Goetze is the recipient of the Dave Terese Sr. Scholarship. He is a graduate of Notre Dame- West Haven where he was a member of the National Honor Society and English Honor Society. Zach was a peer counselor during his senior year. He also played hockey and lacrosse for all four years. He also captained the lacrosse team. Zach will be attending Pace University to study cyber security and will play lacrosse there.
Sarah Davey is the recipient of the Joseph F. Morrell Sr. Scholarship. She is a graduate of West Haven High School and a member of the National Honor Society. Sarah received high honors in all marking periods and was a peer advocate. She competed in three sports all four years. Sarah will be attending Boston College studying biology with a focus on physical therapy.
