Class of '19
The 2019 Graduating Class of West Haven Adult Education had 41 students receive their high school diploma in the ceremony held in the West Haven High School auditorium. The West Haven Chamber of Commerce awarded an Academic and Leadership award to Joel Soberanis.
Notre Dame graduates 127
Notre Dame High School graduated the 127 members of the Class of 2019 on Sunday Alumni Hall. West Havener Nicholas Vollero (right) gave the annual senior speech to his classmates. The commencement exercise capped off a weekend of events for the class.

Both sides seem to be anxious during spring practice at Ken Strong Stadium this past weekend. The Blue Devils ended the annual spring warm-ups with the Blue- White game Saturday morning.
Bad start, bad finish
Ashlynn O’Keefe is called out at third base in the bottom of the first inning. It was an omen of things to come as the Lady Devils were upended by Ridgefield, 5-0, and eliminated from the CIAC tournament.
Playing catch-up
Action continued at Peterson Field and other fields around town for the West Haven Youth Soccer League. The bright, sunny skies allowed teams to finally catch up their regular season schedules due to early spring rains that washed out the first three weekends.
