Murillo family gives thanks in adversity
The Murillo family has much to be thankful for, despite adversity. Daughter Gabby Murillo (center) came home last week after months in hospitals and rehabilitation centers following a June accident that left her in a wheelchair. Spirit of giving
Families that are served by the West Haven Community received food and turkey donations from various groups and organizations including West Haven Professional Firefighters 1198, University of New Haven’s Bethel Hall Residence and Graduate Student Services and Vertical Church. “Thanks to the outpouring of support, many families will be able to have a wonderful Thanksgiving meal with their families,” said Patty Stevens, Executive Director. The West Haven High School Children’s Theatre will present Ho, Ho, Ho: the Santa Chronicles, by Pat Cook, on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 10 and 11:30 a.m. in the brand new auditorium at WHHS. Children 12 and under are free. Tickets for all others are $5.
