The West Haven High School Theatre Workshop (WHHSTW) is in rehearsal for its pring production of Footloose: The Musical.WHHSTW is directed by alum Christina Nolan (Class of 2007).
Footloose: The Musical tells the story of Ren McCormack, a teenager from Chicago who moves to a small town where dancing has been banned. As he struggles to fit in, Ren challenges the town’s strict rules and helps inspire a community to rediscover joy, freedom, and self-expression. Filled with high-energy dance numbers and iconic songs, the show is a heartfelt celebration of youth, resilience, and the power of standing up for what you believe in.
Performance dates are: Thursday, March 26 at 7 p.m. and Friday, March 27 at 7:p.m.
