Worshipful Master Douglas Turcotte

Douglas Turcotte will be formally installed on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 7:30 pm at 263 Center Street. He has been married to Erin Sherman for 7 years and has 3 kids; Joey (5), Matthew (2), and Julia, joining the family in November, 2024. He replaces Worshipful Master Joseph F. McVety, Jr.
Turcotte has worked in the information security and IT governance field for the last 10 years, currently working for a global public accounting and consulting firm. Doug is also faculty at Fitchburg State University, teaching business courses as an adjunct instructor for the MBA program. He graduated from Albertus Magnus College in 2014 with a B.S. in Information systems and an Master’s in business administration in 2018. Prior to the IT business field, Doug worked in non-profit and education for nearly 10 years. Doug is also a member of the West Haven Community House Board of Directors and a baseball coach for West Haven Little League.
Turcotte was inducted into Masonry in 2019 by then-Worshipful Master Richard Biela. His other Masonic ventures include serving as the sitting Excellent High Priest for Joseph Andrew- Pulaski Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, Grand Sentinel for the Grand Chapter of CT, Captain of the Guard for Crawford Council, Junior Warden for New Haven Commandery, Senior Warden at St. John’s Lodge #2 in Middletown, immediate past master and current Chaplain of Masonic Lodge of Research in New Haven, and a member of Madison Lodge #87 in Madison.
The installation will be presided over by the Right Worshipful Richard Memmott Jr., Grand Tiler of the Grand Lodge of Connecticut and Worshipful Brother Kyle Podpolucha, past master of Annawon Lodge.
