The West Haven Twilight League played tits traditional All-Star game against the Greater Hartford Twilight League on Monday, Aug. 24 Taking place at the historic Palmer Field in Middletown, the two leagues with a combined 190-years of twilight baseball history in Connecticut faced off against each other.
Before the game, fans got to see a home run derby showcase between select players from both leagues. West Haven’s Jose Hernandez would blast the most souvenirs into the stands.
For the All-Star game, each team carried a 26-man roster that was formed by ballots submitted by each of the league’s franchise managers.
West Haven had Cooper Thompson start the game and would end up seeing him be near-perfect. The WHTL All-Stars would blank Hartford in what was a 1-0 combined no-hitter shutout win.
This game ends the 2026 season for both teams, as West Haven goes out the best way possible: with a combined no-no.
