The West Haven Football team scrimmaged against Amity and then Bunnell of Stratford in preparation for next week’s opener against Cheshire. Teams from all over Connecticut ended the mandatory conditioning week and got to snaps and tackles in some preseason scrimmage work. The Westies visited Woodbridge to meet Amity, and then hosted Bunnell at Ken Strong Stadium.
The West Haven volleyball team had a scrimmage to prepare for the coming regular season against St. Joseph’s of Trumbull.
