Lynne Ann LaRock, age 69 of Leland, NC passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Daughter of William and Dorothy (Behrendt) Riccio, Lynne was born November 20th, 1953, in New Haven, CT and lived in West Haven the majority of her life. She graduated from West Haven High school in 1971.
She worked many years for the City of West Haven and for Yale-New Haven Hospital as an administrative professional. Lynne’s priority in life was always her family and her passing is deeply felt among them. Lynne is preceded in death by her son Russell G. LaRock and her parents. She is survived by her husband Russell J. LaRock, her son Jeffrey W. (Jennifer) LaRock, her brother William V. Riccio, Jr and her beloved granddaughter Honora J. LaRock as well as a large group of extended family and dear friends.
A Solemn Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church on Thursday, Dec. 29, at 10 a.m. Burial with a private service will be held at Saint Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven, CT. Contributions in Lynne’s memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
