Freeplay opens series
Old Grove Park was the venue for Freeplay. The band played many crowd favorites and kept the crowd on its feet all night long. The night went off despite a few rainstorms holding up the setup of the stage and sound. The team of West Haven’s Public Works Dept. and A&J Productions waited the rain out and made sure that the show went on. Behind the Saxophone of Jim Pino, the band opened the Thursday Night Live Concert series. These concerts are a production of the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce and West Haven Parks and Recreation, with major support from Tropical Caribbean Authentic Latin Cuisine, and further support from Launch Communications and Frontier. The next show at Old Grove Park will be July 13 with Downtown 6 Connecticut’s premier Dance cover band at 7 p.m. See Milfordct.com for further details.
