The Children & Youth Services program at the West Haven Community House recently held a Frozen-themed Family Night for students and their families. The agency holds monthly events to engage students and their families in fun, educational, and social experiences -- including dancing!

Jared Pliszka is the Vio’s Sports Plus/Westie Blue Player of the Week. The West Haven senior goaltender has been tremendous all season, and was nothing short of sensational in a 1-1 tie with Xavier. Pliszka finished with 50 saves in the contest, including numerous saves in the third period and overtime, giving the Westies a chance to earn a possible victory
Knights top Jesuits
Brett Hutchison helped the 5th-ranked Notre Dame basketball team advance to the semifinal round of the SCC Tournament. They played Monday against Hamden hoping to make their third title game appearance in the last four years.
Tier 2 Champs!
The West Haven Peewee AA team shows off its state championship trophy after winning the Tier 2 Connecticut Hockey Conference title. The team’s only bump was a 2-2 tie to Wonderland of Bridgeport, the same team it shutout, 4-0, for the title. The West Haven Peewee AA team consisted of Zach Goetze, John Donohue, Nick Salzano, Beckett Stenz, Mascari, Nicky Stevens, Kempton, Tyler Donroe, DiNuzzo, Tim Donohue, Thomas Porto, Nick Eberhart, Connor Benz, Locklear, and Jack Aloi. They now head to regional competition.
