Scholarship awarded
The West Haven Police Department’s Retired Offi cers Association gives an annual scholarship to a high school senior that is going into criminal justice/law enforcement. This year’s winner is Kailey Carrano (center) from WHHS. This year’s scholarship is in memory of Det. Jim McDonough, who recently passed away. Jim’s wife Laura (2nd from left), also attended the presentation. President Russ Kniehl (2nd from right) and Treasurer Bill Conlan (right) look on.
