White Street ReunionA fun and nostalgic night was had by all who attended the ‘’White Street neighborhood Reunion’’ held recently at Lorenzo’s Ristorante Italiano. Former (and some current) residents from the old White Street block between Union and Third Avenue and surrounding streets from the 1970’s got together after all these years to share good ole stories about wiffle ball and touch football games, St. Lawrence Church carnivals, building and racing go-karts, riding their bikes to Morse & Painter Parks, the old Mosquito sprayer and so much more. No internet, no cell phones, simply great memories from a much simpler time from former neighbors reminiscing about growing up as Westies in this special West Haven hometown. -
