Scout Troop 821 held its Court of Honor and Crossing Over ceremonies at Forest School recently. The history of the West Haven Sailors started as an entry in the third season of the West Haven Twilight League.

It became a semi-professional outfit that played barnstorming teams and teams in the Connecticut State League first at Donovan Field, Savin Rock (show here) and later at Municipal Stadium on Front Avenue, later named for longtime owner and manager Maurice “Moe” Quigley.
