The iconic Altshuler Building dates back to the mid-1800s and is seen on hundreds of old photos of the city. This early 20th Century postcard shows Campbell Avenue in a simpler time, before traffic snarled its roadway at various points of the day, only to be traveled by horsecar or other means of transport.
