The Phelps House was a landmark at Campbell Avenue and Elm Street before its destruction for a fast-food restaurant in the 1970s.

Lower Campbell Avenue around 1960 was a business center leading into the amusement park.

The iconic Altshuler Building dates back to the mid-1800s and is seen on hundreds of old photos of the city. This early 20th Century postcard shows Campbell Avenue in a simpler time, before traffic snarled its roadway at various points of the day, only to be traveled by horsecar or other means of transport.

Kimberly Dalton was the first place winner with a photo of a butterfly on a flower at Sandy Point.

Second place went to Kimberly Nadal for a picture of sunset at Bradley Point.

A third Kimberly won third place, Kimberly Savoia of Milford, for her photo of a rainbow over Long Island Sound.

The West Haven Seahawks Junior Varsity cheerleaders and Spirit team come together to perform for the home crowd at Veterans Field. The Cheerleading squads will compete in the State Championships this weekend
