In the E Boys Division Green Machine continued its winning ways with a 4-1 victory over the Red team. Christian Reyes scored off a beautifully crossed ball from Bobby Severino. Strong defensive play by Jordan Galvez and Jeremy Lincoln kept the red team in check. In another E Division boys game, EB2 tied the EB1,1-1, with the EB2 Maroon Bulls playing a great game behind Jeff Walker, who was great in goal . While excellent team field play was on display from Nathan Santiago, Jack Aloi, Jonathan Durand and Aaron Abraham.
Great soccer play by the Snakes, FB5 green team, was also on display as they beat the Red team, FB4, by a 3-0 margin. Goals by Chase Watson, Charles (CJ) Sutton, Jr. and Kyle Guarino kept the green team in front. Exceptional footwork was on display by Gabriel Greengas.
The Elite Soccer Camps Orange Pumpkins battled to a 5-0 win Saturday morning, behind goals from Isabella Eyler, Michelle Ceja, and Jaelyn Beauvais, whose goal came from an assist from Leah Bogiencki. Adelicia Parise played well on defense and in the goal, and Kailyn Campos had a solid game in the win for the Elite Soccer Pumpkins.
On Friday evening at Pagels School, the West Haven/New Haven Rush U-19 girls team bested a very talented U-19 Haddam / Killingworth team, 2-1,in a tightly contested battle. Rush was led by Sinead Connelly and Jimera Butler who scored on some great aggressive play. Sierra Tarantino,Lyzet Campos, Captain Thea Ranelli and Abby Lozon were there to support the win.Betsy Magano and Rayane Taroua shared net duties.
