‘Recycled for Sight’ nets cache for LionsWest Haven Lions Club officers Vice President Richard Deso (l) President Steven R. Family Fun FestWest Haven Community House held a Family Fun Festival on Saturday on their main building, 227 Elm St. Hundreds of children came out from the community to participate in carnival games, local performers and a touch-a-truck exhibit. Free pizza and ice cream were distributed during the day. The day also included informational booths from WHCH Community Partners, allowing participants to learn about services offered. -

The plan would have restricted much of the area leading to Savin Rock from public use. The plan stirred controversy that lasted two decades. -
Annual scholarshipThe West Haven Police Retired Officers Association recently awarded its $500 scholarship for 2026 to WHHS senior Isabella Criscio. The Retired Officers Association presents the award to a high school senior annually, who is going into criminal justice/law enforcement field. Isabella will attend UNH in the fall.
