Sabi Meat Market owner Sergio Dos Anjos is joined by Mayor Nancy R. Rossi on Oct. 5 to celebrate the Brazilian market’s grand opening at 391 Campbell Ave. Sabi, housed in a building of small businesses on Campbell Avenue between Brown and Court streets, features a butcher shop and specializes in food items from Brazil, said Dos Anjos, a native of Sabinópolis, Brazil, who has lived in West Haven for the past 18 years.

Annual report positive for WHCH, despite pandemic
The various out-of-school time programs offered city youngsters, as well as those programs offered those with special needs were just some of the highlights of this year’s annual report, published by the West Haven Community House last week. The Washington School early morning program was one of the those touted by the agency.
